Ah, what a Friday night.
First, I am reminded why I took myself off of Match.com at the beginning of the year, right around the time I met Coach. I’m not saying I’d never-ever-ever do it again, because God knows it’s hard enough to meet people and I’ve met some interesting and normal people that way, [...]

[Social Networking - Take Two]
Well, I asked for it. I’m searchable now on MyWTF, all right — and getting some interesting friend requests. Hmmm. I suppose I should be flattered, but when a guy with only symbols, no letters, in his screen name contacts me, or a married guy emails me “your hot!!!!!!!!!“ I’m just [...]

Elizabeth at Love, Elizabeth tagged me for this — it’s a good one and easy! Here are the rules:
Pick up the nearest book.
Open to page 123.
Locate the fifth sentence.
Post the next three sentences on your blog and in so doing…
Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged me.
When I saw [...]

I decided I needed to keep busy around the house this weekend, primarily to reorganize and clean up on Saturday, then to stain the deck and plant flowers on Sunday. I also needed to stay busy because it prevented my mind from dwelling on things out of my control, namely the fallout from my personal [...]

Take 2 people crazy about each other.
Add 1 crisis after another.
Find 1 person struggling to cope with it all; the other struggling to support and understand.
Mix well. Serves 2 large doses of frustration and disappointment.

I took the kids to Dick’s Sporting Goods over the weekend to pick up some soccer stuff. (Yep, more magnet ball is coming soon!) While there I noticed an attractive father with his two young daughters. I saw him looking at me a few times. Once or twice he smiled at me.
Wowie wow-wow — [...]

Guess what? I’ve been asked to participate in a podcast at Revolution Health tomorrow night!
The call will feature relationship coach Mira Kirshenbaum on the subject of Valentine’s Day… and the oodles of issues this holiday conjures up in the minds and hearts of singles and couples everywhere.
The podcast will be held tomorrow at 7 p.m. [...]

Well, I knew I couldn’t avoid this question forever — you know, seeing that February is the month of LOVE (and Black History month, Groundhog Day, President’s Day, the Oscars, my car registration renewal, tax preparation time…). But it’s only fair that I tell you what happened after dazzling you and the millions who read [...]

I can’t believe this. Remember, the wet noodle who couldn’t bring himself to call me or write? The one who took like 4 weeks to basically do nothing? Well, I just got off the phone with him. He had called my cell just now to introduce himself (6 weeks after this started…I had to think [...]

Well, it appears Chemistry is out of chemistry for me; they’ve exhausted their inventory of eligible men who meet my criteria — and those who don’t. I mean, if I see one more “match” with a 40-something guy who lives with his parents, or who wants to meet a “pretty country girl,” I’m gonna lose [...]
